Overseas property investors with homes in Spain could benefit from new winter flights announced by Clickair.
The budget airline is to operate routes from Edinburgh to Barcelona throughout the winter period after the success of a summer trial, the Scotsman reports....
Overseas property investors with homes in Spain could benefit from new winter flights announced by Clickair.
The budget airline is to operate routes from Edinburgh to Barcelona throughout the winter period after the success of a summer trial, the Scotsman reports.
Around 18,000 passengers travelled between the cities during August and September and the route's extension into the winter could boost the number of tourists renting property in the country.
Clickair also told the news agency that flights to Seville and Valencia could be augmented from next summer.
Company chief executive Alex Cruz said: "We are satisfied with the performance we have had so far."
It comes as an Off-Plan International spokesman has claimed that long-term capital gains are still available for investors in some parts of Spain.
Britain is still the most popular place for Britons to invest in and the vast majority of purchases are holiday homes, he said.
